■ First 10 Days = Curing Phase Think of this like fresh paint setting — it’s not fully hardened yet. During this time, your PPF and coating are especially vulnerable to:

• Bird droppings

• Hard water spots

•Tree stains (not just sap)

•Scratches from items dragging across the surface

Avoid: Parking under trees, parking near sprinklers, wiping the exterior with anything abrasive.

■ Be Prepared On-the-Go Keep this Quick-Clean Kit in your vehicle:

• Spray Bottle Mix: 20% Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA) + 80% distilled/deionized/softened water

• 5–10 Microfiber Towels: 300 GSM+, edgeless or silk-edged

■ Quick Contaminant Removal (During Curing) Act within 20 minutes of bird droppings, sap, or tree stains.

Steps:

1. Saturate area with stream mode until residue starts breaking down.

2. Mist 5–10 sprays over area + 12-inch radius.

3. First Wipe: Fold towel into quarters, gently lift contamination.

4. Rinse & Wipe: Spray again, flip towel, wipe gently.

5. Final Wipe: Use fresh section, slightly firmer pressure to dry.

Tips: Work in shade, on a cool surface. Avoid circular motions — use straight, overlapping wipes.

■ Removing Hard Water Stains What You Need: • Spray bottle with 50% distilled white vinegar + 50% purified water • 2 damp microfiber towels (purified water, lightly wrung out) • Dry microfiber towels

Steps:

1. Park in shade.

2. Spray vinegar mix on a small section.

3. Let dwell for 30 seconds (max 1 min).

4. Wipe gently with damp towels.

5. Dry immediately.

6. Repeat if necessary.

Notes: Safe for paint, glass, and wheels. Never let vinegar dry on surface. Do not exceed 1 minute dwell time.

Washing your PPF’d or ceramic-coated vehicle the right way keeps it looking like new while protecting the product’s performance and lifespan.

■ Wash Frequency • Every 1–2 weeks is ideal to prevent contaminants from bonding. • Avoid automatic car washes with brushes — they cause scratches. • Touchless washes are safer but still not as good as a proper hand wash.

■ Tools & Supplies

• Two buckets with grit guards (one for soap, one for rinsing mitt)

• pH-neutral car shampoo (ceramic-safe)

• High-quality wash mitt (microfiber or lamb’s wool)

• Microfiber drying towels (500 GSM+)

• Optional: Foam cannon for pre-wash

• Optional: Leaf blower or air dryer for touchless drying

■ Washing Steps

A. Pre-Wash (Loosen Dirt)

1. Rinse the vehicle thoroughly from top to bottom.

2. If available, apply foam cannon pre-wash and let dwell 3–5 minutes.

3. Rinse again to remove loose dirt.

B. Contact Wash (Two-Bucket Method)

1. Fill one bucket with water + car shampoo.

D. Dry

2. If using towels, use a damp microfiber drying towel and blot or drag gently.

3. Dry glass, wheels, and door jambs last.
